Bam Hatun team eliminated from the AFC Women's Champions League group stage 2026/27

Ayeyawady FC completed its campaign in Group A of the AFC Women's Champions League 2026/27, securing a confident 3-0 victory over Bam Hatun FC at the Tuunna Football Stadium.

Nwe Tan Tan scored goals for the Myanmar side in both halves, and Hinari Miyamoto scored the third goal shortly after the one-hour mark, ensuring the Myanmar team's victory. As a result, the team finished third in the standings, ahead of Bam Hatun, which failed to earn any points.

Both teams entered this match after two consecutive defeats, but it was the Myanmar side that managed to capitalize on Bam Hatun's unstable start to the game.

Ayeyawady's high press forced Meliku Motewali from Bam Hatun into a mistake in the second minute of the match. This allowed Nwe Tan Tan to take advantage of the loose ball and pass to Phyu Phyu Win, whose shot from distance went over goalkeeper Raha Yazdani and into the net, as reported by the-afc.com.

Bam Hatun attempted a response, but Mona Hamudi's shot was blocked, and Fatemeh Shaban sent a long free kick over the crossbar in the fifth minute.

Ayeyawady continued to create more scoring opportunities: Min Hton May Zitar shot wide in the 14th minute, and two minutes later, Yazdani saved a low shot from Naw Htet Htet Wai.

The Myanmar team created another threat in the 27th minute when Kurumi Iwasita received a cross from Phyu Phyu Win after a corner, but her shot was too high. In the 32nd minute, Shaban's shot nearly beat the crossbar.

After the break, Ayeyawady continued the game, and Yazdani saved Nwe Tan Tan's close-range shot in the 48th minute after receiving a pass from Naw Htet Htet Wai.

However, Nwe Tan Tan did not miss her chance ten minutes later when Win Win's cross allowed Phyu Phyu Win to break into the penalty area, after which she passed to a teammate who directed the ball into the upper left corner of the goal.

The Iranian team conceded again in the 63rd minute when Kana Ueda crossed the ball into the penalty area for Hinari Miyamoto, who skillfully chipped past the approaching Yazdani.

Despite all efforts, Bam Hatun could not change the course of the match: Shannaz Jafari missed a header from the penalty area in the 80th minute, and two minutes later, Rudjin Tamrian was sent off after receiving a second yellow card.
