A procedure has been established in Uzbekistan for organizing tourist services on vacant land plots near reservoirs. The relevant regulation was developed based on a government decree dated November 5th.
This regulation sets the rules for placing tourist and recreational facilities, as well as organizing tourist services on unoccupied agricultural lands in reservoir areas.
According to the new regulation, the organization of tourist services must be carried out based on a number of mandatory requirements. These include ensuring a rescue service or concluding a contract with a professional rescue structure for round-the-clock service.
It is also necessary to comply with the rules for the safe use of small boats and the bases (structures) where they are located, as well as to conclude agreements with organizations that provide waste removal services generated at tourist sites.
When organizing tourist services, the introduction of digital infrastructure is planned, including digital maps, online booking systems, and navigation tools with QR codes.
When placing tourist facilities, water protection zones, sanitary protection zones, and territories with an increased risk of floods and surges are taken into account.
The allocation of land plots for organizing tourist services is carried out through electronic online auctions in accordance with established legislation.
