Uzpromstroybank leads Uzbekistan bank rating for mortgage lending activity

According to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, as of October 1, 2026, Uzpromstroybank ranked first among commercial banks in terms of mortgage lending, rising three positions. In the housing construction financing activity rating, Aloqabank took the top spot, improving its position by seven places.

The ratings cover two areas: issuing mortgages to individuals and financing housing construction. The Central Bank emphasized that these indicators reflect the banks' activity in developing housing and mortgage markets but do not indicate their overall financial stability or business results.

In the mortgage activity rating, Uzpromstroybank advanced from fourth to first place. The National Bank of Uzbekistan maintained second place. Xalq Bank dropped two places, from first to third, while Ipoteka Bank fell one position, taking fourth place.

Agrobank rose two places, reaching fifth place, while Asakabank remained in sixth place. Microcreditbank lost two positions, dropping to seventh place. Turonbank, Orient Finans Bank, and Trustbank finished in the top ten, holding eighth, ninth, and tenth places, respectively.

Uzpromstroybank showed the greatest improvement in this rating, while Xalq Bank and Microcreditbank recorded the largest decline. Half of the banks in the top 10 maintained their positions.

The mortgage activity assessment is based on ten indicators. Three of them carry the highest weight—17% each, totaling 51% of the overall score. These include the annual growth of mortgage lending in the current year, the volume of mortgages financed by the bank's own funds, and the share of subsidized mortgages among loans financed from the state budget.

The total volume of mortgages issued in the current year accounts for 15% of the assessment. The volume of mortgages issued over the last three years and the volume financed by banks' own funds during this period are each weighted at 10%.

The quality of the mortgage portfolio is accounted for at 6%. The share of mortgages in the total volume of loans issued to individuals in the current year, the average weighted interest rate, and the average interest rate on mortgages for the year account for 5% each.

In the housing construction financing rating, Aloqabank rose from eighth to first place. Agrobank and Business Development Bank both dropped one position, taking second and third places, respectively. Uzpromstroybank improved its position by three points, taking fourth place.

The National Bank declined by two positions, ending up in fifth place, while Turonbank maintained sixth place. Xalq Bank dropped two places to seventh. Hamkorbank showed the most significant decline in this rating, losing four positions and taking eighth place. Ipoteka Bank and Microcreditbank remained in ninth and tenth places, respectively.

This rating is based on nine indicators. Five of them have a weight of 15% each, totaling 75% of the overall score. These indicators include loans issued to contractors in the current year and the previous three years, the annual growth in lending volume, loans financed by banks' own funds in the current year, and the quality of banks' housing construction portfolios.

Loans financed by banks' own funds over the last three years account for 10% of the assessment. The share of loans to contractors in the total corporate loan portfolio, the share of these loans in the total corporate lending, and the average weighted interest rate on loans financed by banks' own funds in the current year are each weighted at 5%.

Seven banks were included in the top 10 of both ratings: Uzpromstroybank, National Bank of Uzbekistan, Xalq Bank, Ipoteka Bank, Agrobank, Microcreditbank, and Turonbank. Uzpromstroybank was the only bank able to improve its position in both ratings, rising three places in each. The National Bank secured second place in mortgage lending and fifth in housing construction financing. Agrobank took fifth and second places, respectively.

Asakabank, Orient Finans Bank, and Trustbank appeared only in the top 10 of the mortgage activity rating. Aloqabank, Business Development Bank, and Hamkorbank were represented exclusively in the housing construction financing rating.

Casa Vista Development strengthens its position in the UAE: 40% of AQUORA residential units sold before presentation

Casa Vista Development is strengthening its presence in the United Arab Emirates real estate market. Forty percent of the residential units in the AQUORA project, a landmark coastal development valued at 350 million dirhams located on the Dubai Islands, have already been sold. The official project presentation is scheduled for October 28, 2026, at Madinat Jumeirah.

This sales figure, confirmed by the developer, indicates buyer confidence in AQUORA and Casa Vista Development's commitment to creating a unique living experience. This commitment is supported by thoughtful architecture, high construction standards, and meticulous attention to detail.

The project's development occurs against a backdrop of global economic and geopolitical uncertainty, demonstrating sustained interest in residential complexes that combine attractive locations with a clear vision of quality and long-term value.

Casa Vista Development's strategy is based on extensive experience gained by the founding family. Since 2012, the family business has encompassed trade, commodities, logistics, construction, and real estate, providing practical insight into project execution, market dynamics, and the creation of long-term value.

Since 2015, the group has expanded its activities to strategic real estate investments in various areas of Dubai and selected international markets, developing expertise in asset quality, location selection, and development potential.

Casa Vista Development was subsequently established to bring this practical commercial and construction knowledge into meticulously designed homes. Central to its mandate remain craftsmanship, uncompromising quality, and precision execution, aimed at creating long-term value through design-led development.

Abdul Basit, Chairman of Casa Vista Development, noted that the response to AQUORA is an important endorsement of the values upon which Casa Vista Development is built. He emphasized that the company's focus has always been on creating an exceptional living experience, underpinned by quality, trust, and long-term commitment. Seeing that 40 percent of the housing has been sold before the presentation, he viewed it as an encouraging reflection of buyer confidence. Nevertheless, he stated that the company's ambitions are much broader, and they aim to strengthen their presence in the UAE through a portfolio of carefully planned projects that will meet established standards.

Located on the Dubai Islands, AQUORA's architectural design is based on the philosophy of 'Form follows flow,' drawing inspiration from the movement, balance, and tranquility of water. The project occupies a plot of 50,000 square feet and has a total built-up area of 242,000 square feet. It includes 105 coastal residential units and six coastal retail spaces.

The residential complex offers over 20 leisure and wellness amenities, including a 22-meter rooftop pool, a Technogym fitness center, a yoga studio, a Zen garden, a pickleball court, concierge services, and a signature arrival experience.

Beyond the architectural expression, AQUORA was conceived as a holistic approach to living in a residence, integrating comfort, privacy, well-being, and construction quality to ensure an exceptional experience for future residents.

Casa Vista Development will host an exclusive presentation of AQUORA at Madinat Jumeirah on October 28, 2026, inviting dignitaries, esteemed guests, investors, valued partners, and media representatives. This evening will focus on the project's architectural philosophy and the company's vision for elite waterfront living, inspired by AQUORA's connection to water.

This event also marks an important milestone in Casa Vista Development's long-term plans, as it has several additional residential projects in its portfolio, and further announcements are expected as the company expands its presence in the UAE. The planned completion date for AQUORA is the first quarter of 2028, connecting years of business and investment experience with the developer's drive to create exceptional places to live.

Thus, AQUORA represents not merely a commercial milestone or an architectural statement, but a reflection of Casa Vista Development's determination to establish a solid reputation for quality, trust, and excellence in the UAE real estate market.
