Actor from 'Tarak Mehta' mocks Rahul Gandhi and Abhijit Dipke

Shailesh Lodha, known for the series 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,' which gained popularity due to its sense of humor, has recently been appearing more often at public events, despite his reduced on-screen presence. A video featuring him criticizing political figures, including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Party founder Abhijit Dipke, recently went viral online.

During a public appearance, Shailesh Lodha mocked both politicians. He stated that Abhijit Dipke is mistaken in believing he is very influential after gathering 450 people at Jantar Mantar. Lodha suggested taking him there so he could see what a real crowd looks like. The actor also commented on the attempt to create a 'fake parliament,' noting that someone who tried so hard couldn't even become prime minister, demonstrating extraordinary self-confidence. He highlighted the difference between confidence and excessive arrogance before falling silent and starting to laugh.

Although Shailesh rarely expresses his opinion on political matters, this time he directly pointed out Rahul Gandhi. Regarding his career, he gained fame through the show Asit Modi's 'Taarak Mehta,' where he played the role of Tarak. After many years in the sitcom, his departure caused disappointment among fans. His relationship with producer Asit Modi deteriorated due to a dispute over fees, which became public knowledge. Despite this, he continues to appear in other projects such as 'Wah Bhai Wah' and 'Advocate Anjali Awasthi,' and fans still miss his on-screen persona.

How Manna Dey found his unique voice in Bollywood despite rare film appearances

Manna Dey's songs continue to resonate with listeners of different generations, even though he rarely voiced the main characters in films. His rise to success required many years of hard work and dedication. Before music became his path, he had another dream—to be a wrestler.

Born Prabodh Chandra Dey in Kolkata in 1919, Manna balanced his studies with wrestling practice. He even reached the finals of wrestling in Bengal, but an injury and vision problems forced him to abandon the sport.

When wrestling was no longer an option, music offered him a new direction. After training under his uncle Krishan Chandra Dey, Manna moved to Mumbai in the 1940s and debuted as a singer for the film 'Tamanna.'

Talent alone was not enough for recognition. Despite performing several songs in his early years, Manna struggled to find his place alongside established singers like Mohammed Rafi, Mukesh, and Kishore Kumar. Nevertheless, he continued to hone his craft.

A turning point came in 1950. Manna's rendition of the song 'Upar Gagan Vishal' for the film 'Mashal' brought him widespread fame and helped him establish himself in an industry where he had fought for recognition for years.

His voice occupied a special place in the hearts of listeners. Songs like 'Pyaar Hua Ikraar Hua' and 'Aaja Sanam' from Raj Kapoor's films helped Manna Dey form a musical identity that generations of viewers remember.

Through his versatility, which spanned both classical compositions and beloved Bengali melodies, he demonstrated his range. He infused his classical skills into the song 'Laga Chunari Mein Daag' and gifted generations the cherished composition 'Coffee House-er Sei Adda-ta.'

Over the years, his contribution earned him some of India's highest honors, including the Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, and National Film Academy awards. In 2007, he received the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his contribution to Indian cinema.

His athletic dreams ended early, and recognition in music took time. However, Manna Dey continued to follow his calling and ultimately became one of the most beloved voices in Indian cinema.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga reacts to criticism of the film 'Animal', stating: 'Don't make the victim a scapegoat'

Following an incident at a school in Andhra Pradesh where a 10th-grade student was injured by an axe, discussions began regarding the influence of violent films on real crimes. This tragedy sparked widespread debate about cinematic violence, with many on social media comparing it to films such as 'Animal' and 'Dhurandhar.'

A specific scene from the film 'Animal' drew attention, where the character Ranbir Kapoor enters a classroom holding a loaded weapon.

Responding to the criticism, Vanga wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, November 4th, addressing those who use this tragic situation to attack filmmakers and their work. He stated: 'When a terrible crime is committed, one should first show sympathy and try to understand the root of the problem, not make cinema a scapegoat.'

The filmmaker also accused some critics of using this horrific event to settle personal scores instead of genuinely caring for the victims and their families. Vanga added: 'This is especially true for unlucky, disappointed, and unemployed actors, some directors, producers, and parasites who declare themselves social reformers as soon as they get a chance to mock someone else's work.'

Concluding his statement, he emphasized: 'In such tragic cases, there should be sympathy, not opportunism. Learn to distinguish between these two things.'

The conflict arose after a young man named Hemant, aged 21, allegedly entered a school in Raptatadu, Anantpur district, Andhra Pradesh, and attacked a 15-year-old 10th-grade student with an axe. During the incident, another student named Lakshmi tried to intervene and save the injured person, sustaining injuries herself.

According to preliminary police investigation, the suspect is a relative of the victim. There are suspicions that he had been stalking the girl for a long time, and the attack occurred after she refused his advances. The injured student is receiving treatment at Manipal Hospital in Bangalore, where her condition is reported as stable.

Tours in Aracaju

It is recommended to dedicate time to explore other areas of Aracaju. The Atalaia Waterfront itself, the stage for Pré-Caju, deserves to be appreciated more calmly. In addition to hotels and restaurants, the area has bike paths, leisure areas, and points such as the Arcos da Orla, which welcome tourists. The Aracaju Aquarium, managed by Projeto Tamar, is also located there, where you can observe species such as sharks and turtles.

Near this area, Passarela do Caranguejo is a well-known destination for dinner and going out at night, with dozens of establishments specializing in Sergipe cuisine, especially seafood, as well as places where forró plays late into the night.

To explore the coast beyond Atalaia, it is suggested to head south, where the beaches of Aruana and Refúgio are located. Aruana beach has a vast sandy strip and generally calm sea, while Refúgio offers kiosks and beach clubs to spend the day.

In the city center, the corridors of the municipal markets Antônio Franco, Thales Ferraz, and Maria Virgínia Leite Franco invite visits. In these locations, visitors find everything from spices and seafood to typical foods and a variety of local handicrafts.
