Airlines Centrum Air plans to enhance its route network connecting Uzbekistan and various regions of Russia by launching direct flights from Tashkent to Chelyabinsk in December 2026 and to Tyumen in January 2027.
The inaugural flight on the Tashkent–Chelyabinsk route is set for December 4, 2026. These flights will run twice weekly, specifically on Tuesdays and Fridays, with an anticipated travel duration of about two hours and forty minutes. Flight C6957 is scheduled to leave Tashkent at 00:30, arriving in Chelyabinsk at 03:10. The corresponding return flight, C6958, departs Chelyabinsk at 04:20 and reaches Tashkent at 07:05.
Beginning January 3, 2027, Centrum Air will also commence direct service between Tashkent and Tyumen. This service will operate once per week on Sundays, requiring approximately three hours for the journey. Flight C6447 will depart Tashkent at 13:00, landing in Tyumen at 16:00. The return trip, C6448, is scheduled to leave Tyumen at 17:30 and arrive in Tashkent at 20:30.
Both new routes are planned to utilize Airbus A320 family aircraft, and all listed departure and arrival times are based on the local time of the respective airports. Round-trip ticket prices start at 4.4 million soums for the Tashkent–Chelyabinsk segment and 4.8 million soums for the Tashkent–Tyumen flights. Tickets are currently accessible via Centrum Air's official website and mobile application.
These new connections aim to boost direct air links between Uzbekistan and the South Urals and Western Siberia regions of Russia. The services are intended for travelers visiting friends or relatives, as well as those traveling for professional or personal reasons. Furthermore, Tashkent will function as a transit point for passengers originating from Chelyabinsk and Tyumen who wish to continue their journey through Centrum Air’s network.
Transit through the Uzbek capital offers access to numerous international destinations, including China, India, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, the Maldives, and South Korea. This expansion is anticipated to reinforce transportation ties between Uzbekistan and Russian territories while simultaneously increasing transit possibilities through Tashkent's aviation hub.
