Jewelry brand GIVA attracts $100 million in investment from Multiples PE

The jewelry brand GIVA has attracted $100 million in a funding round led by Multiples Alternate Asset Management and its co-investors.

Founded in 2019 and based in Bengaluru, GIVA focuses on everyday wear and primarily serves Indian consumers for both personal use and gifts. The capital raised will be used to strengthen the management team, expand production, and enhance the brand's offline presence.

The brand offers a diverse range of jewelry made from 92.5 sterling silver, gold, and lab-grown diamonds. It utilizes an omnichannel distribution model through its own retail stores, a D2C website, as well as leading third-party e-commerce and express delivery marketplaces.

Currently, the brand is present in over 400 stores across India and Sri Lanka. According to the company itself, this latest funding round is the largest investment in the modern jewelry market in India.

Ishandra Agarwal, founder and CEO of GIVA, noted that the support from Multiples is a strong confirmation of what was created at GIVA since 2019—a high-growth, design-focused jewelry brand trusted by Indian consumers for daily wear and gifting.

He added that in the next phase, the company is focused on scaling its omnichannel presence, strengthening manufacturing capabilities, and improving the jewelry experience for modern Indian consumers. In Agarwal's view, Multiples' experience in helping new ventures scale makes them a suitable partner for this journey, and the round of over $100 million allows them to act faster, as it is the largest investment in the modern jewelry market in India.

The company also reported that the Indian jewelry market is estimated to grow by approximately 6% annually, reaching a volume of $124 billion by 2032. Furthermore, Multiples has invested in brands such as Licious, ACKO, PVR, and Arvind Fashions, in addition to other sectors. Earlier this year, Multiples announced the closing of a fund totaling $430 million.

Healthy snack company Troovy raises 100 crore rupees in Series B round led by Fireside Ventures

Troovy, a company specializing in food and snack production, has successfully raised 100 crore rupees in a Series B funding round. Fireside Ventures led this round, with participation from Sharrp Ventures and other investors.

The brand, based in Gurugram, plans to use the funds for research and development, increasing production capacity, and expanding distribution through both quick service channels and offline outlets, preparing for the launch of a wide product range.

Troovy was founded in 2023 by Mansi Baranwal and Aditya Mukherji with the goal of providing nutritious food. The company's portfolio includes categories such as snacks, sauces, and whole grain pastes. The company notes that its vacuum-dried potato chips contain 10-12% oil and are high in protein, unlike mass-market chips where oil content reaches 35-40%. Furthermore, Troovy guarantees that its ketchup and seasonings have a clean composition, without synthetic additives or preservatives.

Aditya Mukherji, co-founder and CBO of Troovy, stated that this support is an acknowledgment of a model not used by many food companies: building the product together with those who will consume it. He emphasized that when working with users, innovation must be stimulated, as consumers will not accept compromises, and simply replacing oil and sugar is not enough—they must be significantly reduced.

The company reported engaging with over one hundred mothers and their children through community-organized discussions, recipe brainstorming sessions, and product tastings. These dialogues helped shape the brand's approach to creating snacks with quality ingredients, excluding harmful preservatives and additives while maintaining the taste expected by children.

Ankita Balotia, representing Fireside Ventures, noted that Troovy demonstrated fivefold growth in eight months after the last investment, prompting the company to double its support. She also highly praised how the team executed growth and supply chain management tasks.

Previously, Troovy had raised $5 million in a Series A round in January of this year.
