Xiaomi is preparing to hold a major event this month where it will present its most powerful line of smartphones. This series will include two devices: the Xiaomi 18 Pro and the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.
According to teaser images, both smartphones will be equipped with a display on the back panel. This additional screen is intended for displaying notifications and selfies. It is worth noting that in the versions released in China, such a protective 2.6-inch display is provided.
These two smartphones were launched in the Chinese market in September. Now, Xiaomi plans to bring them to the global market, which the company has signaled will happen this month.
The smartphones expected to be released in November were recently spotted in the online stores of the Italian retailer Apto. These listings revealed technical specifications, color options, and European prices.
According to the listing data, the starting price for the Xiaomi 18 Pro model is 1398.90 euros (equivalent to approximately 1,48,522). This base version is available in a configuration of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max model will be presented in one variant with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, priced at 1783.90 euros (approximately 1,89,398 rupees).
According to GSMArena, many technical parameters remain similar. However, because these are global versions, the battery capacity will be smaller compared to the Chinese counterparts, which use a larger battery.
For the European market, the Xiaomi 18 Pro is equipped with a 6000 mAh battery, whereas the Chinese versions feature a 7000 mAh battery. As for the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, its listing showed that the European version has a 7050 mAh battery, while the Chinese version has a battery capacity of 85000 mAh.
