Al-Nassr defeated Pakhtakor 6:2 in AFC Champions League qualifying round

The Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr inflicted a heavy defeat on Tashkent's Pakhtakor with a score of 6:2 in the fourth round of the 2026/2027 AFC Champions League Elite tournament. The visitors secured their second consecutive victory in this competition.

Pakhtakor responded in the 36th minute. Sherzod Nasrullaev delivered a cross from the left flank, which Flamandion converted. After VAR review, the goal was counted, reducing the deficit.

After the break, Al-Nassr continued to dominate the game. In the 53rd minute, Al-Amri received a cross from Felix and headed the ball into the far corner of the goal.

Nine minutes later, Garib increased the visitors' lead following a pass from Mane. Pakhtakor scored again in the 75th minute when Dostanbek Khamdamov exploited a defender's error, bypassed him, and shot the ball past goalkeeper Bento Crepski, who had come out of the goal line.

The last goal was scored in the 79th minute. Al-Hamdan passed the ball to the far post, where Angelo sent it into the net.

Thus, Al-Nassr won with a score of 6:2, while Pakhtakor extended its winless streak in this tournament to four matches.

Despite winning the championship, Pakistan faced ICC sanctions for slow pace of play; captain Shahin Afridi admitted the mistake

Shoaib Akhtar publicly praised PCB leadership after Pakistan's victory over England

Pakistan secured a convincing victory over the strong English team in the second match of the trinational one-day series, defeating the opponent by a margin of 87 runs. This win marks the second consecutive major victory for the Pakistani team. Previously, the Pakistani team, which had previously beaten Sri Lanka, batted first and scored an impressive total of 302 runs.
