The British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin has announced a significant price reduction on its models in India, which is good news for those dreaming of owning a luxury vehicle. The company has adjusted the cost of seven of its models, with the greatest benefit going to buyers of the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante.
This decision was made following the signing of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and Great Britain. The company presented details of the price reductions across various models.
The flagship grand tourer, the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante, received the most substantial discount. Previously priced at 10.92 crore rupees in India, this model's price has now been reduced to 6.90 crore rupees, offering customers a direct saving of 4.02 crore rupees. Furthermore, the price of the Vanquish Coupe has also decreased: its original cost was 10.11 crore rupees, but it is now 6.40 crore rupees.
Models from the DB12 S line have also become significantly more affordable. The price of the DB12 S Coupe dropped from 6.62 crore rupees to 4.10 crore rupees, representing a cost reduction of 2.52 crore rupees. Similarly, the price of the DB12 S Volante fell from 7 crore rupees to 4.35 crore rupees, allowing buyers to save 2.65 crore rupees.
For those looking to enter the Aston Martin sports car lineup, the Vantage S has also become cheaper. The price of the Vantage S Coupe dropped from 4.99 crore rupees to 3.15 crore rupees. The price of the Vantage S Roadster was also substantially reduced: it previously cost 5.26 crore rupees, but can now be purchased for 3.35 crore rupees.
The luxurious and sporty SUV, the DBX S from Aston Martin, also received a discount of 2.65 crore rupees. Its initial price was 6.80 crore rupees, but the company now offers it at a new price of 4.15 crore rupees.
A notable feature of this price revision is that buyers can save over 2 crore rupees on almost every model. It is worth noting that the new price of the Vanquish Volante is now lower than the original price of the Vanquish Coupe. Nevertheless, despite such a significant reduction, Aston Martin cars remain inaccessible to the general consumer base as their cost is still in the tens of millions of rupees. However, for customers who were already planning to purchase a luxury vehicle in this price segment, this change could prove very important.
