The Indian T20 team has once again demonstrated its dominance by setting a new world record. After two victories in the T20 World Cup, the Indian squad achieved a significant result during a series of matches against New Zealand.

Despite losing to New Zealand in the fifth T20 match, which took place at Sedden Park and ended with a seven-wicket difference, the Indian team accomplished something unprecedented. India became the first team in the world to score 400 sixes in T20 Internationals in a calendar year.

He was followed by Ishan Kishan with 60 sixes and Sanju Samson with 50 sixes, making a substantial contribution to achieving this record. Furthermore, only against New Zealand this year did India hit a total of 142 sixes, which is the highest number of sixes hit against one opposing team in a year.

Regarding the match itself, the Indian team looked in a difficult position after losing two wickets at 19 runs. However, after this, Ishan Kishan and captain Shreyas Iyer started to dominate.
