Luxurious 'Mannat' Residence with Big Screen Prepared for Shah Rukh Khan's 61st Birthday; 'King' Film Announcement Expected

In honor of Shah Rukh Khan's 61st birthday on November 2nd, his mansion 'Mannat,' valued at 200 million rupees, is being prepared. A video has surfaced showing a large screen panel installed on the building, sparking active discussions among fans regarding a possible special surprise.

The news agency 'India Today' reported that this announcement will be made precisely on Khan's birthday. However, the film's creators have not specified whether it will be a trailer, a music video, or some other promotional material. Nevertheless, it is evident that a major surprise awaits viewers outside the luxurious 'Mannat' mansion.

Film director Siddharth Anand drew the attention of fans by posting a series of three messages on the social media platform 'X' at midnight over three days. By combining these three messages, fans managed to decipher the phrase: 'It's time for the world to celebrate.' Considering that Shah Rukh and Siddharth are working together again after the blockbuster 'Pathaan,' this timing coincidence has strengthened fans' belief that something grand will happen at midnight on November 2nd.

According to a report by 'The Climax India,' in the film 'King,' Shah Rukh Khan collaborates with two major figures in the music world. Rumors suggest that a special track featuring renowned British singer Ed Sheeran and Indian artist Arijit Singh will be presented in the movie. There is a possibility that either this track or a major update related to the film might appear in celebration of Shah Rukh's birthday. If true, this would be a real gift for music lovers worldwide.

The excitement surrounding Khan's birthday is felt not only around his home but throughout the city of Mumbai. In tribute to Shah Rukh Khan and to make his day special, the famous Bandra-Worli Sea Link was richly decorated with lighting. Photos and videos of this illuminated bridge are rapidly spreading online.

As for the film 'King,' it promises to be an exciting crime-action thriller directed by Siddharth Anand. It is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. In the film, Shah Rukh Khan will star alongside his daughter Suhana Khan. Additionally, Abhishek Bachchan will play the role of a dangerous villain, and Deepika Padukone will appear in a long special episode. The film also features other talented actors such as Jaydeep Ahalat and Raghav Juyal, and it is scheduled for theatrical release on December 24, 2026.

International rights for the film 'Kig' sold for 175 crore rupees; the film is expected to surpass the records of 'Dhurandar' and 'RRR'

Despite large South Indian films dominating much of the Indian market, Shah Rukh Khan remains the 'King' internationally. This is confirmed by the deal for the international rights of his new film 'Kig'. According to a new report, the international theatrical rights for this film were acquired for 175 crore rupees, setting a new record for Indian cinema.

According to Pinkvilla, Phars Films acquired the international rights to the film for 175 crore rupees (over $18 million). Previously, the international rights to Shah Rukh Khan's films were held by Yash Raj Films. In 2023, Yash Raj Films distributed both 'Pathaan' (shot under Khan's own brand) and 'Jaan', which proved to be highly successful. However, Phars Films also has significant experience in international distribution, having collaborated with Yash Raj Films on several projects and independently distributing Prabhas' film 'Saho'.

Phars Films provided a Minimum Guarantee (MG) of 175 crore rupees for the distribution rights of 'Kig'. Until now, the international rights of any Indian film had not reached the mark of 100 crore rupees, making this achievement quite remarkable.

The Minimum Guarantee (MG) amount set for the film reflects the distributor's confidence in the film's box office success. Internationally, distributors usually receive only 50% of the total box office revenue. Therefore, for 'Kig' to break even, it must collect revenue of $37–40 million, equivalent to approximately 350–375 crore rupees internationally.

Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan's two most successful films—'Pathaan' and 'Jaan'—earned around 400 crore rupees abroad. Now, 'Kig' must earn at least as much, or more, to be profitable. Given such a large MG, 'Kig' must succeed overseas by collecting revenue comparable to at least 'Dhurandar 2' (460 crore rupees) or 'RRR' (430 crore rupees). These films are among the biggest international successes of Indian cinema.

Furthermore, a report by Bollywood Hungama revealed that Pen Marudhar acquired all Indian distribution rights for 'Kig' for 250 crore rupees. It should be noted that Pen Marudhar has long-standing ties with Shah Rukh Khan's production company. The company has previously released films such as 'Jaan', 'Dankii', 'Zero', 'Badla', and 'Ittefaq'.

Although the situation seems simple, it is actually complex because 'Kig' is scheduled for release on Christmas 2026. At that time, it will face major Hollywood blockbusters such as 'Jumanji', 'Avengers: Endgame', and 'Dune 3'. This film will be one of the most massive confrontations in history. Nevertheless, Shah Rukh Khan has a chance to demonstrate his dominance.

Shah Rukh Khan stars in 'Kig', and Siddharth Anand directed the film. This is the second film between Shah Rukh and Siddharth Anand after 'Pathaan', which was released in 2023. The film also features actors Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Jaydeep Ahlawat, Raghav Juyal, and Saurabh Shukla. This is Shah Rukh's first film with his daughter Suhana, who began her acting career in 2023 with the film 'The Archies'. The film will be released in theaters on December 24.

Poster for Shah Rukh Khan's film 'King' compared to 'Dhurandhar 2' poster by Ranveer Singh, sparking online debate

A discussion erupted on social media after the release of the new poster for Shah Rukh Khan's highly anticipated action film 'King,' which began to be compared to Ranveer Singh's film 'Dhurandhar 2.' Users online noted similarities in imagery, aggressive background, and composition.

The poster, released on Tuesday, October 27, depicts Shah Rukh Khan with a rose between his lips and a serious expression. Although the film appears to be a blend of action and romance, the main subject of the online discussion is the external resemblance of its promotional materials to 'Dhurandhar 2.'

One user on X (Twitter) criticized the poster, stating that the imitation of the look, fiery background, and framing would not allow it to become a 'Dhurandhar,' calling the poster a 'cheap and trashy thing created with AI' for Shah Rukh Khan's #King.

Another user accused the film's script and poster of being copied from other projects. They wrote that 'the brother copied the script from 'Leon: Professional,' and now look what happened? He also copied the poster from #Dhurandhar2. #SHARKHANKING, only because he exists (sarcastically)! '

A third user accused the filmmakers of borrowing design concepts from 'Dhurandhar: Revenge,' writing: 'Shame on you. You copied the design concept of the 'Dhurandhar: Revenge' poster.'

Another user compared the film's promotional materials to two other movies, noting that the first poster was copied from Brad Pitt's 'F1,' and the second from Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar 2,' suggesting that the entire film might be a 'copy-paste' from Siddharth Anand, labeling 'King' an unofficial remake of SRK.

During a special event for his 60th birthday, Shah Rukh described his role in 'King' as 'ruthless and grey.' He also spoke about the difference between hero and villain, recalling complex and dark characters from his career. Shah Rukh noted that people often draw a clear line between good and evil, but he never admitted this. He mentioned working on films like 'Deewana' early in his career, where his character could be considered a villain or stalker by today's standards. This was followed by a series of films such as 'Don,' 'Anjaam,' and 'Baazigar,' where he played villains.

'King,' directed by Siddharth Anand, is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. It will also feature Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, and Anil Kapoor, while Shah Rukh Khan will play an action-packed role.

'King' will be released in theaters simultaneously with several major projects, including 'Avengers: Judgment Day,' 'Dune: Part Three,' and the centenary film 'Nagarjuna's King100.'
