After Quitting Her Job, Woman Sells Cold Cocoa From Her Car, Earning Around 600 Thousand Per Month

Shruti Jinzuwadia decided to start her own business by leaving her job. Her husband Darshan, who is a software engineer working in the IT sector, supported her decision. Together, they started selling cold cocoa and coffee from their car in the city of Ahmadabad.

The venture, 'The Cocoa Station,' began in July 2025 with minimal investment—only 2000–3000 rupees. This business selling cold cocoa and coffee now generates a monthly income of about 600 thousand rupees. Initially, they had neither luxurious cafes, nor expensive goods, nor a complex business plan—just a car, a few bottles, and a desire to try something new.

Darshan joins Shruti after finishing his workday, and the couple starts selling drinks from 9 PM to midnight. Currently, the couple sells about 150 bottles daily.

In the beginning, the business brought in only 14 bottles per day. However, the couple's sales gradually started to grow. According to the Startup India report, they have already sold about 30 thousand bottles, and total revenue has exceeded 3.6 million rupees. The highest demand was observed during the Navratri festival, when they sold about 7500 bottles in 9 days. Currently, daily sales amount to approximately 20 thousand rupees, which yields an income of about 600 thousand rupees per month. Meanwhile, monthly expenses for raw materials, bottles, and other needs amount to about 1.5–2 million rupees.

Despite the growth, the couple continues to run their business from the car. Darshan continues to work as a software engineer. They prepare the drinks in the morning and store them in thermal containers. After finishing work, Darshan comes out with Shruti to sell drinks from 9 PM to 12 AM.

When the business started developing, Shruti decided to leave her main job to focus entirely on her venture. In a post on LinkedIn, she shared that thanks to starting this business, she learned how to manage finances, communicate with customers, and handle difficult situations.

The couple also listed their drinks on the Zomato platform. Classic cold cocoa is sold for 120 rupees, and cold cocoa 2-in-1 for 169 rupees. Classic cold coffee costs 119 rupees. This business, which started with an investment of 2000–3000 rupees, has already generated over 3.6 million rupees in revenue, and the couple currently delivers drinks to customers directly from their vehicle.

Chinese automaker BYD demonstrates significant sales growth in the Indian market

The Chinese company BYD plans to launch its premium brand Denza into the Indian market. The company's current sales figures demonstrate its activity in this market. In September, the company sold a total of 1137 vehicles, which is a good indicator of growth compared to last year.

Although this figure may seem small when compared to giants like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, and Mahindra, an analysis of the segment, portfolio, and previous sales data for BYD reveals significant progress. The company is actively promoting itself in the Indian market.

According to the report by Auto पंडित्ज, in September of last year (2025), the company delivered 513 vehicles. In September of the current year, this number increased to 1137 units, representing a year-on-year growth of 121.6%. Over this period, the brand sold 624 more cars.

The main driver of growth was the demand for the Sealion 7 and Atto 3 models. These two electric vehicles account for 92% of the company's total sales volume. BYD's portfolio includes four models, with the Sealion 7 being the bestseller, selling 530 units in September. Only 216 such vehicles were sold in September of last year, indicating a year-on-year growth of 145.4% for this model.

The Atto 3 model ranks second in sales, reaching 519 units in September. Last month, 199 Atto 3 units were sold, corresponding to a year-on-year growth of 160.8%. However, Emax 7 sales declined: if 88 units of Emax 7 were supplied in September of last year, this figure was 76 units in September of this year. The least popular model was the BYD Seal, which was supplied in only 12 units.

Currently, BYD does not conduct full vehicle manufacturing in India. The company imports vehicles through CKD or SKD (Completely Knocked Down or Semi Knocked Down) channels and assembles them at its factory in Sriperumbudur, Chennai. Since BYD has not yet received permission for local production for several reasons, the company uses these supply routes, which leads to increased vehicle prices. Denza models may also arrive via this route and will be aimed at luxury segment buyers.

Cyberattack hits company in Hyderabad: Over 3.3 crore rupees stolen in 87 minutes

A major cyber fraud occurred at one of the Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFC) in Hyderabad. The perpetrators managed to gain access to the company's systems and its Application Programming Interface (API). As a result, over 3.3 crore rupees were withdrawn from the company's account in just 87 minutes, involving 183 transactions, with funds transferred to 52 suspicious accounts.

Currently, only about 40 lakh rupees have been frozen, meaning a significant portion of the alleged stolen amount is still under investigation.

This incident took place at an NBFC that provides lending and other financial services. According to the statement filed with the police, continuous suspicious transactions were made from the company's bank account between 10:31 AM and 11:58 AM on October 19. A total of 183 transfers were executed, moving over 3.3 crore rupees to various accounts.

Analyzing the data makes it clear: 87 minutes, 183 transactions, and 52 bank accounts. On average, this meant more than two transactions per minute. Initial investigations suggest that the funds were quickly distributed across multiple accounts. Police reported that the amount of each individual payment ranged from 50 thousand to 2 lakh rupees.

Investigative bodies are currently determining which specific accounts received the money, where it was subsequently redirected, and who is behind the entire network.

A crucial aspect of this case is how the attackers gained access to the company's system and its API. An API is a digital channel through which two software or systems exchange information and operate according to predefined instructions. In financial companies, APIs are used to connect various digital services and systems.

If any person or group gains unauthorized access to such systems and successfully bypasses security measures, it can be misused. However, the method of the hack in this case—what vulnerabilities were exploited by the criminals and how they managed to access the system—has not yet been determined.

Therefore, the company has requested system logs, API logs, transaction records, bank statements, and internal reports as part of the investigation.

The main question in this case is exactly where the millions of rupees went. According to an official from the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB), approximately 40 lakh rupees have been frozen in suspicious accounts so far to prevent their withdrawal or transfer.

Comparing the fraud amount, exceeding 3.3 crore rupees, with the frozen 40 lakh rupees shows that the majority of the damage is still under intense scrutiny by investigators. The company's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) filed a complaint with the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau on October 20. This complaint requested an investigation into the cyberattack, the identification of the responsible parties, and the freezing of suspicious accounts. On the same day, the company notified the incident via the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal.

Following this, investigative agencies began collecting digital evidence and records related to the transactions. The investigation is ongoing. The company faces an estimated loss of over 3.3 crore rupees, with only about 40 lakh rupees known to be frozen.
