Rain probability expected in Dubai with temperature drop to 24°C

According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the weather in the United Arab Emirates on Friday, October 30, will be clear or partly cloudy.

The probability of precipitation remains, which is partially attributed to the influence of El Niño, as previously explained by NCM experts. Convective clouds associated with rain may form in the eastern parts of the country.

Air temperatures will reach 36°C, 34°C, and 35°C in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah, respectively. Meanwhile, minimum temperatures in these emirates are expected to be within the range of 25°C, 24°C, and 25°C.

At night and in the morning on Saturday, high humidity with the possibility of fog is expected in the western regions. A light to moderate wind will blow from southeast to northeast, with an overall speed ranging from 10 to 40 km/h, but it may reach 40 km/h.

The sea in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea will be calm.

Fog covers several UAE emirates; precipitation expected today

On the morning of October 16, fog enveloped the United Arab Emirates, making it difficult for drivers in several areas to read road signs until they were within 100 meters of them.

The police issued warnings, strongly advising drivers to reduce speed and remain vigilant in conditions of reduced visibility. The fog spread across several territories, including Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah, and was not limited to a single emirate.

Red and yellow fog alerts were active across the country until 9 AM, with further decreases in horizontal visibility forecasted. According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), areas where such alerts were issued were marked on the map.

Today, the weather in the UAE is expected to be clear or partly cloudy, with a chance of rain by evening and in the south, as convective clouds are set to form, according to the NCM forecast.

In Friday evening and Saturday morning, an increase in humidity is expected in some coastal and inland areas, potentially leading to fog or haze. Winds will be light to moderate but may occasionally intensify up to 45 km/h, which could potentially cause dust lifting and reduced visibility.

The sea in the Arabian Gulf will be small to moderate, and in the Gulf of Oman—small. On Friday, the air temperature in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Dubai will reach 37°C, while the minimum temperature in these three emirates will be 29°C.
