The luxury brand BYD's Yangwang has officially named its upcoming flagship sedan, the Altior. In China, this model is known as the Dingyao. The announcement was made just before the planned presentation in the United Arab Emirates at the beginning of November.
Previously, this vehicle appeared under the internal code name HU. The official teaser showcases a large sedan equipped with rear-opening doors, a roof-mounted lidar sensor, and front design elements similar to the Yangwang U8 SUV.
The release of this car expands Yangwang's model lineup in the ultra-luxury executive sedan segment. Currently, BYD has not disclosed information regarding prices or detailed powertrain specifications.
The international premiere will take place after Yangwang begins its presence in the UAE through the local distributor Al-Futtaim.
