Startup Baishida, producing desktop 3D printers, attracts angel-plus funding round

The Chinese startup Baishida, which specializes in desktop 3D printers, has completed an angel-plus funding round. The investment was made exclusively by the Still Water Lake Venture Partners fund, and the deal amount was not disclosed.

This new funding stage followed a previous angel round, which was financed solely by GL Ventures. The raised funds are planned to be directed towards production needs, research and development (R&D), hiring personnel, and working capital.

Baishida, based in Ningbo, develops both consumer and professional 3D printers. Its technology is based on the Layered Membrane Stereolithography method—a resin printing process based on laser scanning and membrane transfer. This technology allows for work with high-viscosity resins, expanding the spectrum of possible material properties.

Currently, Baishida is preparing its first product for commercial market release. The founding team possesses experience in printing algorithms, resin printing hardware, as well as in the business aspects of Lenovo printers.

Chinese Collaborative Robot Manufacturer FAIRINO Raises Series D Funding Led by Meituan

The Chinese company manufacturing collaborative robots, FAIRINO, has completed raising Series D funding. This round was led by Meituan, which previously participated in the Series C+ round spearheaded by Meituan's investment arm, known as Long-Z.

Information about the latest round was disclosed by the company in October. The raised funds will be allocated to expanding production and developing industrial robotics.

Collectively, both rounds have allowed the company to raise nearly one billion yuan. Other investors participating in the deal included Yongxin Capital and Suzhou Capital Group, while several existing partners increased their investment stakes. The company did not disclose the specific amount raised in the Series D round.

The funds obtained by FAIRINO will be used to scale up production capacity for key components and products.
