A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by the Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov, visited Jordan as part of a working trip that took place on October 26–27. The goal of this visit was to deepen trade, economic, and investment ties between the two countries.
During the visit, representatives of the Uzbek delegation held talks with leaders of Jordanian state institutions and major companies. The parties examined opportunities for interaction in several sectors, including industry, agriculture, energy, geology, mining, as well as transport logistics and pharmaceuticals.
An Uzbek-Jordanian round table was held together with the Jordanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, attended by representatives of the business community. Significant attention at this meeting was paid to developing industrial cooperation, creating joint production capacities, attracting investments, and increasing bilateral trade volumes. Furthermore, the Uzbek side presented terms for conducting commercial activities in Uzbekistan to its Jordanian partners.
Upon completion of the visit, the parties were able to identify the most promising areas and potential joint ventures, and agreed on subsequent stages for their practical implementation.
