A reduction in the cost of the annual pass has been announced for local passengers using the services of the National Highway. Residents living within 20 kilometers of the paid points of the National Highway can now purchase a subsidized annual pass.
The cost of such a pass depends on the location of the point: it will be 1500 rupees for those paid points located outside municipal or local city boundaries, and 3000 rupees for those located within such boundaries.
Previously, relevant residents could purchase a monthly pass for 360 rupees, which amounted to 4320 rupees annually.
