Senac Jundiaí (SP) is promoting the 15th Senac Radio Journey this Monday, with the theme 'Sport on Air: radio, football, and female protagonism.' This free event will take place from 7 PM to 10 PM at the institution's premises in Jardim Paulista, focusing on sports communication, narration techniques, and the importance of female representation in sports.
The program was designed for students, communication professionals, and anyone interested in understanding the behind-the-scenes aspects of sports broadcasts. Various activities will be offered, including an interactive narration workshop, discussions about professional careers in radio, and a specific debate on the participation of women in the sports and media fields.
During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to practice voice-over techniques, rhythm, and improvisation by narrating a football play. This aims to bring the public closer to the practice of sports communication and demonstrate how voice and narrative construction can convey the emotion of a match.
Additionally, the journey will feature the delivery of the Female Player Album of the Jundiaí Favelas Cup 2026, an initiative aimed at valuing athletes and increasing the visibility of women's football in the region. The event will take place at Rua Vicente Magaglio, 50, in Jardim Paulista, and attendance guarantees a certificate.
Female representation in sport
Beyond the practical activities, the agenda includes a discussion on inclusion, opportunities, and the fundamental role of communication in valuing women in sports. The debate aims to analyze the obstacles faced by women in fields such as sports journalism, photography, and other functions related to competition coverage and dissemination.
This meeting serves to bring together professionals and participants linked to the communication and sports sectors, allowing for the exchange of experiences and the discussion of strategies to expand female presence in these environments.
Expo Profissões
In addition to the Radio Journey, Senac Jundiaí will participate in Expo Profissões 2026. This event will take place from Monday (26) to Wednesday (28) at Espaço Expressa, in Jundiaí, from 9 AM to 6 PM.
The fair will bring together various educational institutions, companies, and organizations with the purpose of presenting training options, areas of activity, and career possibilities. At the Senac booth, the public can explore different professional areas and experience practical activities.
Expo Profissões is aimed at students defining their path, university students, and professionals seeking qualification, career transition, or re-entry into the job market. The program will also include lectures, conversations with specialists, and professional guidance sessions. This year's edition will feature over 50 exhibitors and will offer a job fair, where companies will provide job openings, with free entry.
In addition to the program in Jundiaí, Senac promotes handicraft workshops and free lectures in the units of Itu and Sorocaba (SP) from this Monday (26) to Friday (30), as part of Senac Essential Design 2026.
This network-coordinated initiative by Senac São Paulo takes place in several units across the state and attracts students, professionals, and those interested in architecture, urban planning, and interior design. The main objective is to foster knowledge exchange and intensify discussions about the link between design, society, and housing forms.
At Senac Itu, there will be three scheduled workshops from 7 PM to 10 PM: Kokedama, on Tuesday (27), teaching the Japanese technique of growing plants in spheres of soil and moss; Macrame, on Wednesday (28), focused on creating pieces through manual knots and weaves; and Terrarium, on Thursday (29), dedicated to assembling small decorative ecosystems.
At Senac Sorocaba, the program includes lectures, workshops, discussion circles, and a Clothing Exchange Fair, activities that encourage creativity and promote reflections on sustainability and innovation. A highlight is the lecture 'Imagining Futures,' given by the creative consultant of Senac São Paulo, architect and designer Guto Requena, on Friday (30), from 7:30 PM to 10 PM. The agenda will also address the use of technologies in interior design projects and alternatives to reduce textile waste, in addition to debating the connection between landscaping, nature, and urban spaces.
