In the last two years, there have been instances of shootings in Mumbai where famous figures from Indian cinema were targeted. Among those affected were personalities such as Salman Khan, Rohit Shetty, and recently, Tiger Shroff, who was also shot at.
Although Rohit Shetty has not publicly commented on the incident involving the shooting at his home in February, he brought up the topic in a recent episode of 'Bigg Boss 20'.
During the 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episode, which took place in Salman Khan's absence, Rohit Shetty criticized the show's contestants: scout OP, Asif, and Yang DSA. The criticism related to them collectively attacking their teammate Kaji Taukir.
He raised the issue of participants' behavior inside the house. Specifically, after Yang DSA questioned Kaji Taukir's age, Rohit Shetty mentioned Salman Khan. He stated: 'The host of this show is 60 years old, and I myself am 52.' He then compared this situation to real-life incidents of shootings among film stars.
Rohit Shetty uttered the phrase: 'They shoot in our homes, and you walk around like gangsters?'
As is known, five shots were fired at Rohit Shetty's residential complex in Mumbai early one morning on February 1st. No one was injured in this incident. Later, the Mumbai police arrested several suspects connected to this event.
Recently, Tiger Shroff was also a victim of a shooting incident. This happened on October 18th around 7 PM in the Juhu area while the actor was leaving a football club. The attackers opened fire on his car, and Tiger narrowly avoided serious injuries.
The investigation revealed that three main suspects were in a hotel room in Andheri, which authorities sealed. The Mumbai crime police are also investigating whether the attackers practiced shooting before carrying out the attack. Currently, 10 people have been arrested in this case.
