Low-income motorcyclists can apply for IPVA exemption in the state of Sergipe

Registration is open for the program called Rode Bem, which offers exemption from the Motor Vehicle Property Tax (IPVA) for motorcyclists in socioeconomic vulnerability in the state of Sergipe.

For those interested to participate in this program, it is essential to meet specific requirements. The criteria include residing in Sergipe, having a family income of up to two minimum wages, owning only one vehicle, and ensuring that it is domestically manufactured, with an engine whose volumetric capacity is between 50 and 165 cubic centimeters.

The registration process must be carried out exclusively through the program's website. This requires filling out a specific form and submitting mandatory documents, such as an official photo ID, proof of residence, proof of income, and the National Vehicle Registration Number (Renavam).

This benefit will be applied starting in 2027, and the period established for citizens to register extends until December 31st of the current year. The implementation of this initiative is the result of a collaboration between the State Secretariat of Social Assistance, Inclusion, and Citizenship (Seasic) and the State Secretariat of Finance (Sefaz).
