Uzbekistan has been elected as the chairman of the Coordination Council of Heads of Tax Services of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) for 2027. This decision was made on October 23 at the 33rd council meeting held in Dushanbe.

During the meeting, participants discussed the application of artificial intelligence in tax systems, methods for increasing the efficiency of tax risk management, and ways to improve the work of the tax administration.

The delegation of Uzbekistan presented the country's experience in digitizing its tax system and implementing artificial intelligence technologies. The presentation included solutions for automating tax administration, analyzing large volumes of data, identifying potential violations, and improving services for taxpayers.
