Robotics startup Jingji Intelligent for cleaning attracts tens of millions of yuan in seed round

The Shanghai-based robotics startup Jingji Intelligent for cleaning has successfully attracted tens of millions of yuan in seed funding. The investments came from Haowen Tianshu Robotics and Shanghai Lanyun Industrial Development.

Information about the fundraising was disclosed on October 20, approximately one month after the company's founding in September.

Jingji Intelligent's main focus is cleaning vertical surfaces, countertops, and sanitary ware. To achieve this, the company utilizes force control, machine vision, and high-precision actuation methods borrowed from medical robotics.

The company plans to maintain its research and development operations and supply chain within China, while focusing on international clients. Partnerships have already been established in Australia, Spain, Singapore, and Vietnam, and the company is now moving into the product validation stage after defining the technical approach and product architecture.
