The total volume of trading in securities issued by 72 companies on the Republican Stock Exchange 'Tashkent' amounted to 2.34 trillion soums in September, while the number of transactions reached 198,106.
The turnover on the over-the-counter market was 409.55 billion soums, which, combined with trading on the exchange itself, brought the total trading volume to approximately 2.75 trillion soums.
The average daily number of transactions in securities included in the exchange's quotation list was 9,434, and the average daily trading volume reached 111.26 billion soums.
During the month, the capitalization of the stock market increased by 6.99 trillion soums, or 0.86%, reaching 819.91 trillion soums (equivalent to 69.36 billion US dollars).
The capitalization of freely traded shares was 11.23 trillion soums (949.82 million US dollars). By the end of September, 144 financial instruments issued by 86 companies were listed on the exchange.
