Vasant Valley School receives 'Best School in India' award and 5-star rating in Education World ranking

The prestigious Vasant Valley School from Delhi has achieved another significant milestone in the field of education. The school was honored with the 'Best of the Best - Ivy League Award' in the Education World India School Ranking (EWISR) for the period 2026–27. Furthermore, the school has been designated as the 'Best Day School of India' and awarded a 5-star rating.

This award highlights the high level of academic preparation, comprehensive development of students, and its achievements in the educational sector. It is worth noting that Vasant Valley School is affiliated with the India Today group.

Commenting on this achievement, Vasant Valley School Director Sharmila Bakshi stated in an interview with India Today that receiving an award always brings satisfaction and joy, but the goal of people working in education should not be to win prizes. She emphasized that all school staff work with the aim of doing the best for the children.

According to Sharmila Bakshi, the motivation for the school team is to provide quality education to children, create a favorable environment for their development, and strive daily for perfection. She expressed gratitude to Education World for the award, noting that such recognition is pleasant and confirms the value of the work done.

Meanwhile, the school's senior class head, Vijay Trivedi, noted that every award has its uniqueness. He believes that when students, school management, and the director achieve success and receive recognition together, it brings joy. He added that awards serve not only as a symbol of achievement but also as a source of inspiration for future work.

Vijay Trivedi also mentioned that when children see that their school and director are receiving national recognition, they share in that joy. This strengthens the students' sense of pride in their school and motivates them to perform better.

Strengthening the school's national recognition

The recognition received by Vasant Valley School demonstrates not only its academic successes but also its commitment to the overall development of children. For the school administration, this achievement is a matter of pride, but it also places responsibility on them to further improve the quality of education. Director Sharmila Bakshi's statement conveys the idea that the true goal of education is not winning awards, but providing students with the best opportunities and preparing them for the future. In turn, Vijay Trivedi emphasized that the institution's successes become a stimulus for the progress of both students and teachers.

Receiving the title of 'Best Day School of India' and a 5-star rating is a significant event for Vasant Valley School. This award gives new strength to the school's national identity and recognizes its efforts to achieve excellence in education.
