Moonchild Sanelly released new Afro House track titled 'Khetha'

Moonchild Sanelly has presented her new single 'Khetha' in the Afro House genre, in which she collaborated with producers ZVRI and Kususa. This track is based on her idea of the right to independently choose one's life path.

The single was released on October 22nd via the label Mayonie Productions. The South African artist explores the sound of Afro House, combining her recognizable style of self-expression with rhythmic electronic production created by two recognized names in this genre.

The name 'Khetha' translates from isiZulu as 'to choose,' which is directly related to Moonchild Sanelly's popular phrase: 'choose your struggle.' This thought has gained wide traction on social media thanks to dance challenges and fan participation, popularizing the idea that the reaction to difficulties is up to each individual.

The track goes beyond social media, offering a message adapted for the dance floor. Essentially, 'Khetha' calls on listeners to show personal initiative and make conscious decisions to live according to their own terms.

For Moonchild Sanelly, whose work crosses various genres and challenges expectations, this collaboration has been another opportunity to experiment with her sound. The joint work with ZVRI and Kususa unites diverse approaches to African electronic music, using Afro House as the foundation for the composition.

Furthermore, this release is part of Mayonie Productions' continuous efforts to unite African artists and producers from different genres and audiences.

Family house in Eemnes with expansion carried out in 2002

On the border of the Zuiderheide nature reserve, in the locality of Eemnes, there is a single-family residence dating from 1971. The initial project presented a square configuration with an area of only fifty square meters.

Later, an expansion was carried out in 2002; however, this addition resulted in a fragmented spatial arrangement. The rooms were characterized by being dark and having inadequate connections, both visually and in terms of circulation flow, with the staircase located in a corner.
