This spicy seafood dish combines golden fried fish roe and shrimp in a chutney based on tomatoes, chili, and seafood masala.
The ingredients required are 400 grams of fish roe, 400 grams of shrimp, one chopped onion, four green chilies, two tablespoons of seafood masala, salt to taste, eight pureed tomatoes, coriander for garnish, and vegetable oil.
The cooking process begins by heating the oil in a pot, then adding the onion and green chilies. They are fried for five minutes. After that, the seafood masala is stirred in, and the mixture cooks for another three minutes.
Next, the tomatoes and salt are added. Then half a cup of water is poured in and boiled over medium heat for twenty minutes. Simultaneously, the fish roe is fried over high heat until golden brown and chopped.
When the chutney is ready, the shrimp and chopped fish roe are added to it, mixed, and simmered for another ten minutes over low heat. The dish is sprinkled with fresh coriander before serving.
