Poco X8s introduced with 6330 mAh battery and 100W charging, offering big features in a compact body

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Poco has released its POCO X8s model in select global markets. This device is equipped with a 6.35-inch screen, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, a 6330 mAh battery, and supports 100W fast charging.

One of the distinguishing features of the phone is its compact size. While many modern smartphones feature screens of 6.7 inches or larger, the POCO X8s is presented in a smaller format.

Compact 6.35-inch screen, but powerful specifications

The POCO X8s features a 6.35-inch 1.5K OLED display. It supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, which ensures smoother scrolling and an improved gaming experience. According to the company, the peak brightness of the screen reaches 3500 nits. The advantage of a small screen is ease of holding and one-handed use compared to larger models. However, users who prefer watching a lot of videos or gaming on large displays may find its small size insufficient.

Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and Android 16

The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, built on a 4nm architecture. The POCO X8s is available with 8GB and 12GB RAM options, and storage capacity starts from 256GB up to 512GB. The phone runs on Xiaomi's HyperOS 3, based on Android 16. This combination of processor and RAM offers a good option for daily use, running multiple applications, and gaming.

6330 mAh battery with 100W charging

The POCO X8s is equipped with a 6330 mAh battery, exceeding the capacity of many standard smartphones, which can be useful for users who actively use their phone for extended periods. Furthermore, it supports 100W wired fast charging. Reverse wired charging support of 22.5W is also claimed, allowing other devices to be charged from the phone itself with the appropriate cable and support.

Cameras on the POCO X8s

The main rear camera of the POCO X8s has a resolution of 50 megapixels, and there is also an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The ultra-wide-angle lens allows capturing a larger area in one shot, which is convenient for landscapes and group photos. A 32-megapixel module is located on the front side for selfies and video calls. The phone has an IP68 rating, meaning it has passed dust and water protection tests according to established standards. Nevertheless, this does not guarantee complete protection in all conditions, as sealing may weaken over time, and warranty conditions may differ in case of water damage.

Price of the POCO X8s

Currently, the POCO X8s is available in the Vietnamese market. The model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage costs around 42,000 rupees, while the version with 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage is approximately 51,000 rupees. When using introductory offers and vouchers, the effective cost of these models is about 30,000 rupees and 37,000 rupees, respectively. This phone has not yet been launched in India.

OPPO prepares to launch a 200MP triple-camera smartphone in India, priced up to 2.40 lakh rupees

OPPO is preparing to introduce a new smartphone in India equipped with three 200-megapixel cameras. Previously, the company released a smartphone with three 200MP cameras, and now it plans to launch this model in the Indian market. The Find X10 series from the company is expected to debut in India on October 22.

The most expensive variant, the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max, will feature outstanding camera capabilities. It will be equipped with a main, ultra-wide-angle, and telephoto lens, each featuring a 200MP sensor. This ensures high resolution both when shooting distant objects and capturing wide landscapes.

Interest in this device is driven not only by the cameras but also by price expectations. According to some reports, the cost may range from 1.60 to 1.90 lakh rupees, but one leak indicates a retail price (MRP) of 239,999 rupees.

According to information from OPPO, the camera system in the Find X10 Pro Max was developed in collaboration with Hasselblad. The phone will be equipped with a 200MP main lens, a 200MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 200MP telephoto lens. Typically, the main camera in smartphones has a higher resolution, while ultra-wide-angle and zoom cameras have fewer megapixels; however, OPPO decided to use 200-megapixel sensors for all three cameras.

This decision allows for high-quality shots across various shooting scenarios. The main camera is designed for everyday photography, the ultra-wide-angle camera for group and wide-format shots, and the telephoto camera helps bring distant objects closer. The camera system also includes LUMO True Image Engine technology, which enhances color, lighting, and fine detail representation in photos.

Furthermore, the phone features a 50MP front camera. For video recording, the Pro Max offers advanced functions: all three rear lenses are capable of recording video in 4K at 120 frames per second and in 8K at 30 frames per second.

The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max will be powered by a powerful 8000 mAh battery. The company claims this charge will last for two days with normal usage. Both 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging are supported.

The device's screen will be 6.78 inches and made of AMOLED material with a 144Hz refresh rate. This provides a smoother experience when scrolling content, gaming, and watching animations, although the full effect of 144Hz depends on the specific application or video.

To ensure high performance in the smartphone, it is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, manufactured using 2nm technology.
