China-Vietnam Relations Boost Trade and Tourism in Guangxi

On the border between China and Vietnam, in the city of Zhongzhou, located in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China, economic ties are opening up new prospects for development.

Yuyi Guan Port, an important transport hub for trade with Vietnam, ensures faster arrival of goods to markets thanks to efficient customs clearance and logistics, maintaining connections between enterprises.

Further along the border is the Cross-Border Cooperation Zone in the area of Detian-Ban Giong Waterfall, which demonstrates the potential of cross-border tourism in creating local jobs, stimulating economic activity, and fostering human connections.

CGTN correspondent Wang Tao traveled to Zhongzhou to find out exactly how trade and tourism are creating new opportunities along the border between China and Vietnam and how these growing ties can bring long-term benefits to the local economy.
