Important information has emerged regarding the powerful supersonic cruise missile BrahMos, developed in India. Dr. Jayant R. Joshi, CEO of BrahMos Aerospace, stated that accelerated work is underway to make this missile fully indigenous.
During Operation Sindoor, the BrahMos missile demonstrated its flawless firepower by destroying key enemy targets. Following this successful demonstration, the demand and prestige of BrahMos have significantly increased globally.
The range, accuracy, and power of the BrahMos missile classify it among the deadliest weapons in the world. This missile has been successfully integrated into all three branches of the armed forces: the ground forces, the navy, and the air force.
Work is also currently underway to develop new, lighter variants of the BrahMos missile for air launch.
