Octobank introduces new credit products Octo Card and Octo Restart for borrowers

Octobank has announced the launch of two new financial instruments—Octo Card and Octo Restart—which expand the bank's credit offerings. These products allow clients to either cover current personal needs or change the terms of existing loans.

Both offers are available for up to sixty months, and a decision is made on the day the application is submitted.

Octo Card—for covering current and planned expenses

Octo Card is designed to finance various personal goals, such as purchasing new equipment, furnishing a home, or paying for education. The loan term for this card can reach five years, and clients have the right to choose an interest-free period of up to three months.

Interest rates depend on the client category: for bank employees and participants in salary projects, the rate is set at 25% per annum, while for other borrowers, it will be 30% per annum. Repayment is made through monthly annuity payments, which promotes more sound financial planning.

Amount—to match the scale of the task.

The maximum amount that can be obtained with Octo Card is 100 million UZS. The bank covers the risk of non-repayment for half of this amount, and the remaining portion is issued without collateral requirements. If the required amount exceeds 100 million UZS, the loan amount will be determined based on the collateral value of the property.

Octo Restart—new opportunities for existing loans

The Octo Restart program allows borrowers to refinance a loan taken from another financial institution. This means the old debt is settled, and future payments are made through Octobank under improved conditions.

Under this program, one can receive an amount from 4 to 100 million UZS for a term of up to five years. The base interest rate is 28.9% per annum. However, provided there is good payment discipline—meaning no delays exceeding five days within the last twelve months before applying for refinancing—the rate can be reduced to 24.9% per annum.

Experts note that the product is most relevant for those servicing a loan at a higher rate or who wish to adjust repayment terms. The new conditions can reduce the monthly financial burden and free up part of the budget for other needs. When assessing the benefit, it is important to consider the total overpayment: extending the term may lower the monthly payment amount but simultaneously increase total costs.

The refinancing amount includes both the principal debt and the accrued interest at the time of the decision. The borrower must independently pay the interest for the period between the transfer of funds to the transit account and the full closure of the previous loan. To apply, compliance with the bank's requirements regarding collateral is necessary. It should be noted that refinancing does not apply to credit cards, overdrafts, and loans issued under preferential programs.

Online Application

A decision on both products is provided on the day of application. The application can be submitted on the official Octobank website, and the application process is completed at the bank's office after verification and submission of necessary documents. In the case of Octo Restart, after approval and signing the agreement, the funds are transferred to another bank's account to repay the loan.

These products are aimed at citizens of Uzbekistan aged 20 to 60 who are registered in Tashkent or Tashkent region, provided they meet the bank's general requirements.
