The entry-level version of the Volkswagen Polo, known as Polo Track, has had a price adjustment for the 2027 line, becoming R$ 1,300 more expensive. The hatchback is now sold for R$ 97,990 and, as part of this update, comes standard with rear parking sensors, whereas previously its price was R$ 96,690.
A significant addition to the model is the optional VW Play + Alarm package, which costs R$ 2,660. With this package, the price rises to R$ 100,650 in the solid Black Ninja color, and it incorporates electric windows on all four doors, all operable with a one-touch function.
This same optional package also includes power-adjustable rearview mirrors, a VW Play multimedia system with a 10-inch screen that supports wireless connectivity via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, in addition to a key-activated alarm.
If the buyer does not opt for the additional package, the Polo Track retains only front electric windows, along with air conditioning, four airbags (distributed between two front and two side airbags), stability control, hill start assist, and a trip computer.
In terms of basic equipment, the vehicle has a simple sound system equipped with a monochrome screen, Bluetooth, and USB-C ports. Externally, it features halogen headlights and daytime running lights, in addition to 15-inch steel wheels with dark hubcaps and 185/65 tires.
The mechanics remain unchanged: under the hood, there is the 1.0 naturally aspirated flex engine, which generates 84 hp and 10.3 kgfm when fueled with ethanol (and 77 hp and 9.6 kgfm with gasoline), and uses a five-speed manual transmission. According to Volkswagen, the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h with gasoline is 13.8 seconds.
Considering all its configurations, the Volkswagen Polo was the best-selling car in September, registering 11,095 registrations, according to data provided by the National Federation of Automotive Vehicle Distribution (Fenabrave).
