A call center, public council, and a new fund will be established within the Ministry of Education and Science. At the same time, the activities of some departments will cease.
According to the document, the ministry is an authorized executive body of the republic in the field of education, science, and scientific activity.
The issue of the Agency for Knowledge and Qualification Assessment's activities is also being considered. Furthermore, the Center for Education Development under the Ministry of Preschool and School Education will be closed.
A special working group will be formed under the Presidential Administration to develop a strategy for human capital development and continuous education.
The ministry's council will consist of 15 members. It will include the minister, his deputies, agency directors, rectors of leading higher educational institutions, scientists, and educators.
The minister has been given the opportunity to hire central staff directly based on interviews until February 1, 2027.
It should be recalled that on October 3, a unified Ministry of Education and Science was formed by Presidential decree, based on the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, as well as the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.
