President Shavkat Mirziyoyev made a working trip to Kashkadarya region, where he inspected the operation of the 'Sulton Tex Group' textile factory. This enterprise, located in the Kashkadarya free economic zone, is valued at 54 million dollars.
The factory is engaged in the production and dyeing of fabrics, utilizing modern resource-saving methods, including a water recycling system and solar panels. The enterprise's production capacity is designed for an annual volume of 20 thousand tons of fabric, and it has created 840 jobs.
A key element of the production process is the water purification and reuse system, which costs 3 million dollars. This system ensures that over 95% of used water is returned to the production cycle, allowing for an annual saving of 1.1 million cubic meters of water. Electricity for the factory comes from a gas generator and solar panels with a total capacity of 3.5 megawatts, installed on the facade and roof of the building.
During the visit, the president studied the technological process and the exhibition of finished products. He emphasized that the application of resource-saving solutions should serve as a model for other textile industries.
The cluster plans further expansion of its activities. Within the free economic zone, a new project worth 70 million dollars is planned, which will provide employment for another 3,570 people. Additionally, an investment of 17 million dollars is planned for other districts of the region, which will add 1,220 jobs.
During his visit, Mirziyoyev also spoke with factory employee Dilora Kholiyorova, who shared information about working conditions and expressed gratitude for the support provided.
