The Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov, met with Marcin Krasuski, Head of Government Affairs and Public Policy at Google Cloud, in Samarkand.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the application of cloud technologies in public administration, as well as the prospects for developing the country's digital infrastructure. This meeting took place on the sidelines of the C5+1 summit between Central Asian countries and the United States.
Participants reviewed opportunities to expand the use of modern digital solutions in state institutions, paying particular attention to the implementation of cloud technologies in public institutions.
Furthermore, they discussed how Google Cloud's technological capabilities and international experience can contribute to accelerating Uzbekistan's digital transformation process. At the end of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of further cooperation on the issues raised and the continuation of the dialogue.
