TIM launches BetaCreator with 50 GB plan and invite-only access

On Tuesday, October 20th, TIM formalized the restructuring of TIM Beta, information that had been previously anticipated by Tecnoblog. The new plan, named BetaCreator, will cost R$ 60 per month and its access will be strictly limited to invitations.

This package includes 50 GB of internet, in addition to access to social networks, TIM Mais, and Deezer. During the presentation, which included Tecnoblog, executive Julia Martins, director of prepaid marketing for TIM Brazil, clarified that subscribing to the plan will not be possible through any standard operator channel.

Initially, access will be granted via invitations directed to content creators and influencers. Current TIM Beta customers will also be entitled to this novelty, with users of the previous plan being the first to receive invitations in the Beta Founder category. After receiving the invitation, these users will have up to 48 hours to activate the service.

Although the price remains the same, BetaCreator presents significant improvements over the previous plan, offering more data. One of the main changes is that unused gigabytes in the 50 GB allowance are accumulated for subsequent months; for example, if the customer uses 30 GB, the remaining 20 GB will not expire.

TIM Beta was launched in 2010, originally focused on the young audience with an emphasis on community engagement. According to the Italian-origin operator, the brand is being modernized with benefits requested by the customers themselves.

The user experience will be centralized in the Meu TIM application, while the specific TIM Beta application will be discontinued, aiming to consolidate all services into a single platform. TIM has not yet disclosed the exact number of invitations that will be distributed or how many customers can join Creator.
