Is there a place where China's national entrance examination (Gaokao) is held at an altitude of 4000 meters? The only such examination site is located in the Golozha Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, in China's northwestern Qinghai Province, right at the foot of the snow-capped mountains.
A week before the exam, teachers from the Golozha Ethnic Secondary School in Xining organized a bus transfer for more than one hundred high school students from Xining back to the testing location.
These students, carrying the resilience and vastness of the plateau, embarked on their next journey through mountains and seas.
