The popular television singing reality show Indian Idol has resumed filming under the name Indian Idol Legends Return. This season features 24 veteran legends competing in 12 pairs. This season looks quite intriguing.
Khemish Reshammi, who serves as a judge on the show, is very pleased to see former contestants in this new format. He believes that any singer's success depends not only on their voice but also on having a desire for constant self-improvement.
Reshammi emphasized that a singer must possess a thirst for knowledge. He added: 'Being a judge means not just recognizing a voice, but understanding the singer's potential, their individuality, and their courage to express their point of view on stage. I have walked this path myself, so I know that ups and downs in a career are inevitable. Therefore, I understand how important it is to start anew after such difficulties. You have to start from a clean slate and never let your enthusiasm fade. Because I have experienced this, when I listen to any contestant, I look not only at their vocals but also at originality, and that special quality that makes a performance unforgettable, along with the desire to achieve something. My journey has taught me this.'
Khemish noted that his life journey has taught him the importance of setting challenges for oneself, learning new things, and keeping one's passion alive. He stated: 'I am very happy to be part of this season that brings back these voices. In this season, they have another chance to prove their worth. Because I have always believed that one victory is not enough. True achievement is continuous progress and the ability to win the hearts of the audience again. This season, India will see what these singers are capable of today and who they can become in the future.'
Khemish Reshammi has worked throughout his career as a composer, singer, producer, and actor. Despite a long career and thousands of hits, his passion for music remains the same. It is worth noting that singers such as Abidjit Sawant, Amit Sana, Salman Ali, and Saily Kamble participated in the show. A special theme of this season is that one victory is not enough—one must win again and again.
