The O! Mega-Fest Mintay! festival, dedicated to promoting fish products and cod dishes, took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The event was held on Taras Shevchenko Gastronomic Street.
The festival was organized with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan. The event program included live music performances, entertainment activities, interactive sessions for children, quizzes, and master classes.
Visitors were able to taste various cod dishes, learn about their preparation methods, and become acquainted with the diversity of fish cuisine. One of the key objectives of the festival was to increase interest in fish products and awareness of their importance in the daily diet.
Uzbekistan pays special attention to the development of aquaculture, increasing fish farming volumes, implementing modern technologies, and ensuring the population has high-quality products. Stimulating fish consumption and expanding demand for industry products also remain priority tasks.
Fisheries play an important role not only in meeting the food needs of the population but also in creating jobs, developing entrepreneurship, and strengthening the economic potential of the regions. Promoting fish dishes is seen as a way to encourage consumers to show greater interest in the goods of this industry.
