The construction of a new industrial complex is planned in the Fergana region of Uzbekistan, which will combine the production of refrigeration equipment, deep processing of agricultural products, and modern storage facilities.
According to the regional administration, the project is being implemented by the Chinese company Haoyuan Green Cold Chain LLC, registered in the Rishhtan district.
The prospects of this project were discussed between the region's governor, Khayrullo Bozorov, and a delegation led by the company's head, Jian Yuechen.
According to the presented plans, the initial stage involves launching the production of refrigeration equipment. Subsequent phases of the project include creating capacities for deep processing of agricultural products and building modern warehouses with cold rooms.
Furthermore, the initiative involves developing logistics infrastructure, creating new jobs, and training local specialists. It is expected that this complex will expand the region's capabilities for storing and processing fruits and vegetables.
The goal of the project is to increase the added value of agricultural products and strengthen the export potential of the Fergana region.
Bozorov emphasized the importance of implementing the project according to a clear plan, guaranteeing the timely completion of the set tasks and compliance with required standards. Following the meeting, all participants agreed on the next steps to advance this initiative.
