Following Tanavoli's work, the second place was held by Monir Farmanfarmajani's untitled mosaic. This piece had a starting price of $377,000 and sold for $461,538, setting the second-highest record in the auction's history.

The third significant piece in the Iranian art market belonged to Kourosh Shishegaran, titled 'Inside and Outside'. Its starting price was set at $204,000, and it sold for $252,800.

Among other artists whose works were presented at the auction and who showed high results, notable names include Abgolasem Saeedi, Mohammad Ehsaei, Hossein Zenderoudi, Mansour Ghandriza, Aydin Aghdashloo, Faride Lashai, Vahed Hakdani, Manouchehr Yektaee, Masoudeh Arabshahi, Sadegh Tabrizi, and Shahriar Ahmadi.

The Tehran Auction, being the first event of its kind in Iran, was launched in 2012 as an independent private initiative. Its goal was to present the best examples of Iranian art to collectors and a global audience, covering both established and emerging Iranian artists.

The auction aims to satisfy the growing interest in modern and contemporary Iranian art and provide a reliable way to acquire quality works.
