A delegation from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), led by its president Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, visited the National Football Center of Uzbekistan, as well as a stadium currently under construction in New Tashkent.
At the National Football Center, AFC representatives familiarized themselves with the operation of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) center, as well as the digitalization of football and the activities of the medical center.
Afterward, the delegation inspected the stadium under construction in New Tashkent.
Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa highly praised the sports infrastructure created in Uzbekistan. He also noted the large-scale reforms being implemented in the country's sports sector and the modern conditions being established to support the further development of sports.
