Voltamp Energy plans to produce transformers and solar projects in Uzbekistan

The company Voltamp Energy from Oman intends to develop projects for the production of high-voltage transformers and solar energy in Uzbekistan. The company views this country as a starting point for further expansion into the markets of other Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries.

Discussions about these plans took place during a meeting between the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the Chairman of Voltamp Energy, Sayid Ayman Al Busaidi. These negotiations were held on the sidelines of the first meeting of the Investment Council for the Fuel and Energy Sector.

The parties discussed prospects for strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation and agreed on the implementation of current and new Voltamp Energy projects within a special roadmap.

In an interview with the channel O‘zbekiston 24, Al Busaidi noted that the meeting at the Investment Council opened up additional opportunities for the company. He added that the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan have increased Voltamp Energy's interest in participating in the country's energy projects.

The company chairman stated that 'our company has developed a clear plan for future activities in Uzbekistan and CIS countries,' and that the meeting with Shavkat Mirziyoyev allowed him to discuss these plans.

During the negotiations, Al Busaidi also appealed to the president to support the introduction of new technologies, professional development of specialists, and the expansion of related services.

Mirziyoyev supported the proposed initiatives and instructed relevant agencies to finalize agreements, accelerate the implementation of programs, and ensure the necessary conditions for investors.

Al Busaidi characterized the meeting as a significant stimulus for Voltamp Energy's plans in Tashkent and other regions of Uzbekistan, as well as for its long-term goals of expanding into CIS markets. He also expressed gratitude for organizing the negotiations.
