Final module of the SputnikPro project concluded in Moscow on Zubovsky Street

The final module of the 'SputnikPro on Zubovsky' project took place in Moscow from October 12 to 16. The event was held at the main office of the media group 'Russia Today' and gathered journalists and bloggers to learn about the secrets of working in hotspots, as well as topics related to artificial intelligence and content promotion.

During the week, participants attended a series of lectures and masterclasses dedicated to modern media trends. Topics included principles of media monitoring, managing Telegram channels, and creating content for various platforms. The topic of neural networks and artificial intelligence generated particular interest among participants, as this subject had not been fully covered in any previous module.

Aida Iskakova, a participant from Uzbekistan, shared her impressions of the fact-checking and AI lectures, noting that she plans to apply the lecturers' advice in her work, such as using AI to create engaging headlines to attract readers' attention.

The 16th module also featured a meeting with representatives from various media outlets. Participants spoke with a war correspondent, learning about the specifics of working in conflict zones. Lecturers from NNT and the International Association of Fact-Checkers discussed disinformation trends.

Maria Butina, a Russian politician and public figure, participated in the program, where she spoke about her arrest in America and time spent in prison, and also discussed issues in interstate relations.

Oleg Pliev, a participant from South Ossetia, emphasized that 'SputnikPro on Zubovsky' is not just a course of lectures but also a platform for exchanging experiences and establishing new professional connections. He added that a communication room was organized to allow for continued dialogue, experience sharing, and mutual assistance.

His colleague Donna Dudayeva also expressed hope for maintaining contact in the future, including regarding professional matters.

In addition to the educational part, participants had time for cultural programs. Some of them visited Moscow for the first time thanks to their participation in the project. Sitora Primova, a participant from Uzbekistan, noted the meticulous organization of the event, mentioning the useful map showing major cultural centers of Moscow, and the opportunity to see Red Square and Old Arbat.

The 'SputnikPro on Zubovsky' project is implemented by the directorate of multimedia centers of Middle Eastern and Balkan countries for journalists from CIS countries. The program has been running since 2023, during which 16 modules have been conducted with the participation of 192 students from 11 neighboring countries.
