The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has released a notification regarding the recruitment of candidates for a range of vacancies. Among the offered positions are supervisor, engineer, senior engineer, and other roles. Interested applicants can submit applications by November 4th to learn more about these vacancies.
Recruitment is being conducted in the departments of architecture, civil engineering and tracks, signaling and telecommunications, as well as in the environmental department. Vacancies are open to permanent employees transferred on a temporary basis, as well as to employees hired on contract after retirement, in the Jaipur Phase 2 and Delhi NCR areas.
The notification also specifies qualification requirements. However, specific degree or diploma requirements are not set for these positions; instead, selection is based on the candidate's current salary and their work experience in the relevant department. Nevertheless, candidates are required to provide details of their higher and postgraduate education.
It is important to note that this vacancy is intended exclusively for experienced specialists, and graduates cannot apply for these positions. Regarding age restrictions, age is calculated as of October 1st. For candidates applying for transfer, the age must not exceed 55 years. For those applying for contract work after retirement, the age must be between 55 and 62 years.
The selection process will be based on an interview. For candidates hired on contract after retirement, a personal interview and a medical fitness check are also provided.
As for salary, it will vary depending on the application method and the place of posting. Employees transferred on a temporary basis will receive a salary from their main department plus a transfer allowance. Candidates hired on contract after retirement will be offered a salary of 182,500 rupees per month when posted in Delhi-NCR and 200,800 rupees per month when posted outside Delhi-NCR.
