Donald Trump's Report: No Tariffs Will Be Imposed on Five Countries, Including India, for Purchasing Russian Oil

American President Donald Trump announced that no tariffs will be imposed on five countries, including India, for purchasing oil and gas from Russia.

Trump specified that India and four other states will not face any types of tariffs when buying crude oil and gas from Russia.

Previously, on September 19, American President Donald Trump signed a bill titled the 'Lindsey O'Graham Sanctioning Russia And Iran Act Of 2026'. This law was initially aimed at five countries that purchase significant amounts of crude oil from Russia, namely: China, India, Slovakia, Hungary, and Azerbaijan.

It is worth noting that last August, this bill was approved by the US Senate with a vote of 86 in favor and 11 against. However, Trump has now clarified that tariffs for the purchase of Russian oil for these five countries will not be applied.
