During the meeting of the Council of Investors in the fuel and energy industry, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, met with the Chairman of the Board of the Turkish company Cengiz Holding, Mehmet Cengiz.
The head of state positively assessed the growth rate of trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Turkey, as well as the successful completion of large-scale joint investment projects.
During this meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to deepen practical interaction with the holding in the fields of energy, geology, and infrastructure development.
The participants in the negotiations also focused on potential projects that involve the construction of new thermal power plants and the modernization of the republic's electrical grids.
