Anvisa releases batches of Ypê brand detergents and disinfectants manufactured between November and December 2025

The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) has granted the release of certain batches of Ypê brand detergents and disinfectants. This decision was made after the manufacturing company, Química Amparo, submitted reports demonstrating satisfactory microbiological results.

The official publication of this measure occurred in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU) this Friday, the 16th. It is important to note that this authorization does not cancel all restrictions applied to the brand. Products manufactured up to October 31, 2025, remain suspended when their respective batches end with the number 1.

The commercialization permission covers six variations of dishwasher detergents and two lines of disinfectants, provided they were produced in the period between November 1 and December 31, 2025. Furthermore, the Pinho Ypê and Bak Ypê disinfectants, manufactured in the same interval, are also included in the authorization.

In a statement, Química Amparo emphasized that the decision aligns with the plan previously presented by the company, which stipulates that the release of batches depends on the delivery of reports issued by independent laboratories validated by the Agency itself.

Química Amparo had also provided reports referring to May and June 2025, which also showed positive results. However, these specific products are still awaiting formal approval from Anvisa.

The restriction persists for items produced up to October 31, 2025, whose batches end in 1. This rule is detailed in Resolution-RE No. 4,096, published on October 15, and keeps the distribution, use, and commercialization of these items suspended.

Because of this, it is crucial to check both the manufacturing date and the batch identification to determine whether a product is released or remains under suspension.

The initial suspension was implemented after a sanitary inspection conducted between April 27 and 30, 2026, which found non-compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices criteria. Subsequently, the manufacturer presented technical documentation and analysis reports with favorable microbiological results for the November and December 2025 products, leading Anvisa to annul the suspension for these batches.

Older products that remain under restriction must adhere to the agreed measures to ensure continuous sanitary monitoring.
