BSA has introduced two new special editions of its Gold Star 650 model, aimed at enthusiasts of classic British motorcycles. These new versions are named Birmingham Blue and Brooklands Black Legacy. Both models feature special color schemes and enhanced exterior elements compared to standard versions.
These motorcycles boast an attractive design and a powerful engine. The starting price for these special editions is 3,560 rupees ex-showroom. However, the cost varies depending on the variant: the Birmingham Blue is priced at 3,550 rupees, while the Brooklands Black Legacy costs 3,640 rupees.
The Birmingham Blue model is presented in a deep blue color. Its side panels are adorned with silver badges, and the engine features special finishing. This classic look will appeal to those who appreciate the design of old British motorcycles.
Meanwhile, the Brooklands Black Legacy presents a more premium appearance. It is finished in dark black and features chrome-trimmed fenders decorated with gold piping. Furthermore, the model includes a chromed fuel tank, a specially designed seat with quilted stitching, and numerous other decorative details that give it a unique character.
BSA sought to connect these two special editions with its history. The name Birmingham Blue is inspired by the city of Birmingham, where the brand of this British motorcycle manufacturer originated. In turn, Brooklands draws inspiration from the famous Brooklands racetrack in England. Thus, the company showcased its heritage and classic identity through these motorcycles.
The mechanical specifications remain unchanged in both special editions compared to the regular models. They are equipped with a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 652 cubic centimeters, producing 45 horsepower and 55 Nm of torque. Consequently, the most significant change in the new versions lies in the exterior appearance and design. Regarding equipment, both motorcycles are fitted with Brembo brakes, a dual-channel ABS system, and spoked wheels.
