International promotional campaign for the film 'Ramayana' sparks discussion about Rama's human nature statement

The international campaign for the film 'Ramayana,' featuring Ranbir Kapoor, launched on October 15. As part of this campaign, a new clip montage was presented, containing a dialogue that strongly impressed viewers. In this segment, it is asserted that Rama was not a god, but a human being.

In the clip released on Wednesday, Kunal Kapoor is depicted as the Hindu god Indura, seated on the mount Airavata. He confronts Ravana, known as Yash, who strikes the divine elephant with a punch. Ravana utters the phrase: 'Every head will bow before me.'

The voiceover states that in the era when humans coexisted with deities, and evil, represented by Ravana, rose from the darkness, humanity had only one hope—a man named Rama, not a god. Following this, Ranbir speaks in Rama's voice: 'If I do not stop him, the world will be destroyed.' It is emphasized that this is only the beginning of events.

The exact time for the release of the second trailer has not yet been determined. However, the filmmakers plan to hold a large-scale trailer launch in Bangalore, Yash's hometown, while the first trailer was presented in New Delhi. It is expected that the event in Bangalore will feature not only Yash but also actors and creators, including Ranbir, Nitesh Tiwari, Sai Pallavi, and producer Namit Malhotra.

Namit Malhotra shared his thoughts on the project on his X account on Wednesday: 'When we started shooting 'Ramayana,' our dream has always been to bring one of India's greatest stories to the whole world. Tomorrow, this dream takes another big step forward.' He added that Sony Pictures is launching an international campaign for 'Ramayana,' introducing the entire world to this eternal story that many will see for the first time.

Malhotra noted that the presentation of the Indian film as a global cinematic event brings pride to everyone. He concluded: 'Our truth, our story—from India to the world. Jai Shri Ram. Now we just have to wait for the film's premiere.'

New trailer for the film 'Ramayana' sparks audience delight and comparisons to major Hollywood productions

The film 'Ramayana,' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash Starer, is positioned not just as a pan-Indian but also as a global project. A new promotional trailer was recently released by Sony Pictures in various languages worldwide. The international marketing campaign for this movie launched on October 15th, and the trailer immediately made a strong impression on the public. The work of producer Namit Malhotra is highly praised.

The trailer showcased impressive visual effects (VFX) and immersed viewers in the atmosphere of Treta Yuga. Scenes of Ravana's battle in Devaloka and Lord Rama's fight during Bala Kanda were shown, with the quality of the VFX receiving high praise from both Russian-speaking and English-speaking audiences. Viewers are leaving diverse reviews about the trailer.

The audience reaction, both nationally and internationally, has been unusual. One user noted the magnificent music at the end of the trailer, calling Hans Zimmer's composition outstanding. Another commentator highly praised Indian cinema, stating that everyone must now acknowledge its superiority. Many viewers feel that the trailer is so good it is hard to describe in words and eagerly await the film's release. Some compare 'Ramayana' to major Hollywood films, noting that its level is comparable to 'Avatar,' and predict huge box office success for the movie.

Many viewers have publicly apologized to producer Namit Malhotra. When initial information about 'Ramayana' was presented in April, he faced harsh criticism over alleged costs of 400 billion rupees and low VFX quality. However, as more materials and marketing elements appeared, public trust in the project increased. Now, after the release of the final trailer, confidence has turned into conviction. The public believes that the film will successfully present Indian cinema on the world stage.

After watching the trailer, many are confident that 'Ramayana' is a contender for an Oscar race, believing that the VFX could bring victory. It is worth noting that the film's visual effects were done by DNEG, founded by Namit Malhotra, which has previously won eight Oscars for films such as 'Dune' (both parts), 'Interstellar,' 'Tenet,' 'Inception,' 'Blade Runner,' and 'First Machine.' Another award is now anticipated.

The film 'Ramayana' is scheduled for a global release on November 5th. The director of the project is Nitish Tiwari.
