An experiment is planned in the Namangan region that will begin in 2027, providing for the return of 90% of the land tax to owners of private plots and dehqan farms.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers' decision, to qualify for this payment, farmers must meet several conditions. They must grow agricultural products and earn income from their sale exceeding 25 BRV per hectare annually. Furthermore, full payment of the land tax and no outstanding debts from previous periods are required.
To apply for the refund, plot owners must enter information about the land area, types of cultivated products, and sales volumes through the specialized platform 'Online Mahalla'. The calculation of product value to determine income will be based on prices available on the UzexAgro platform.
It should be noted that if a farmer uses land without proper documentation or occupies territory exceeding the area stated in documents, the refund amount will be reduced. The Tax Committee will automatically calculate the payment amount, and the funds will be transferred to a bank card via a special mobile application of the tax authorities.
This experiment is scheduled for 2027 and will be valid until the beginning of 2028. Previously, additional support measures were announced in Uzbekistan for farmers, cotton clusters, exporters of finished products, and industrial enterprises that provide a significant number of jobs.
